Rhythm Keene

Stephanie "Rhythm" Keene is a poet, songwriter, and performance poet. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, she claims Philly as her 2nd home, and her style (on and off stage) is reflective of this marriage of classic Philly soul and southern sensibility. She self-published her first collection of poetry, "Mama, Watch Me Fly", in 2005 and is currently working on a follow-up collection, titled "Libations: Vol. 1: a Tribute to Artists Who Died Young", a collaborative effort with Philadelphia muralist Willis Nomo.

Rhythm is also a songwriter and currently works as the President of Special Media for Forever Music Inc., a record label owned and operated by Grammy-nominated producers Carvin & Ivan. She has also modeled for the artwork of Tatyana Fazlalizadeh and the Matt Koza- directed music video for "Maybe She'll Dream of Me" by The Foreign Exchange. She strives to evolve as an open vessel for whatever God blesses her to do and become.
